  • In place to increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and school districts improve teacher/principal quality and ensure that all teachers are highly qualified.

Title V, Part A

Innovative Programs State Grants

  • Congress did not allocate funding for Title V for 2008-2009 however, schools may use funds carried over from previous allocations. In addition, under transferability, schools are allowed to transfer a portion of the funding they receive by formula under certain federal programs to Title V
