Administration Tools
When you are logged in as an administrator, clicking on the Admin Tool link in the My Tools box on the right side of the netTrekker page provides you access to the following tools.
Registration Key
This feature allows you to view or generate the Registration Key for a school or schools in the district. Users are required to enter a Registration Key during the registration process to automatically associate their username with their school. Current usernames and passwords will continue to work and do not require a Registration Key.
The Registration Key is generated by the netTrekker Administrator of each school. Registration Keys are unique across all subscribing schools. By default, the Registration Key is valid for 1 year. A duration of 1 week or 1 month may also be specified. The same Registration Key can be reactivated after it expires, or a new Registration Key can be generated.
The Registration Key for each school will need to be shared with your staff so that new teachers and new students can register and begin using netTrekker.
