netTrekker Selected as Finalist for AEP Golden Lamp Award and EdNET Impact Award
Leading educational search tool honored for improving education through engaging digital content and support for personalized learning

Cincinnati, OH – May 13, 2010 – The Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) has announced that netTrekker has been selected as a finalist in the Golden Lamp Awards competition in the Technology & New Media category. netTrekker also has been recognized as a finalist for the EdNET Impact Award, which honors organizations that have made a positive impact on the education community.

For more than four decades the AEP Awards have honored outstanding resources for teaching and learning. The Golden Lamp Awards are the educational resource industry's top honor, recognizing the best overall tools for teaching and learning in the four entry categories - Curriculum, Periodicals, Professional Development, and Technology & New Media. Golden Lamp entries are judged against products from all subjects and grade levels to select only one winner in each category. The full list of finalists can be viewed at http://www.aepweb.org/awards/lampfinalists.htm. The Golden Lamp Award winners will be announced on June 8 at AEP’s Content in Context Conference in Washington, D.C.

The EdNET Impact Award recognizes organizations that have made the most significant, positive impact on education through quality educational support and instructional resources. Judges in the Impact Award competition select a winner that has provided a benefit to education for a significant period of time, effectively advocated or implemented quality educational practices that have resulted in improved student learning, made a deep impact nationally or internationally exhibiting benefits to a diverse array of students, among other judging criteria. The full list of finalists can be viewed at http://www.ednetconference.com/ednetawards.asp. The winners will be announced on May 19, 2010.
